This originates from a complex bone structure just above the ear in the skull and called as the temporal bone that keeps the organ responsible for hearing. To manage tinnitus headache, knowing the cause and analyzing it would lead us to know how to get the right treatment. There are factors that results to tinnitus headache. These factors are split into two primary factors and secondary factors.
The primary factors involved in a Tinnitus headache are stress, continued sleeplessness or insomnia, subarachnoid hemorrhage, and lumber puncture. There are also new discoveries of which tinnitus headaches are associated to. But let us discuss the primary factors starting with stress. Stress sprouts from the temporal bone structure of the skull. To address the stress problem, relaxing and taking deep breath and drinking plenty of water will relieve a person from stress. And even when medications may be required some may have unhealthy side effects. Insomnia, the next factor can be reversed just by doing the opposite that is by sleeping 7 hours a day.

Lumber puncture is a collection of cerebrospinal fluid from the sac of the lumber. Tinnitus headache may occur if it does after 12 hours from which the procedure is done.
A new study has been discovered that tinnitus headache aroused from a group of condition called Temporomandibular Disorder (TMD). This TMD, however, is caused by a factor called the Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMJ). Since the jaw joint is located a bit near to the ear, there are some mechanisms that are known to bring out an ear symptom. The muscles and tendrils, since they are directly connected with the ear get their nerve impulses from those that are joined to the jaw muscles too. In some circumstances, a little mistake in the interpretation of signals from one may make a change.
A progressive study of tinnitus in relation to a temporal headache is still on going. But another consideration of how a tinnitus headache may arise is from an ototoxic medication like the antibiotics, including Aminoglycosides, Vancomycin, and Erythromycin. The chemotherapy agents and quinine is also considered to be contributors to tinnitus headache, especially for the older people. Pain and discomfort may arise in the temporal structure in the skull due to the toxicity which is present in these drugs.
